Intern Value Investing

​

Your main tasks include:

• Screening the investment universe—usually within a specific region—to generate investment ideas
• Arranging visits to the management of interesting companies and documenting them through additional research
• Due diligence, i.e., the in-depth analysis of promising investment candidates through extensive on-site research based on interviews
• Monitoring our existing investments in this sector. You will participate in all team discussions and be fully integrated into the decision-making process.

You should apply if you have the following:‍

• Business sense, in particular the ability to assess how companies will develop in the medium and long term
• Financial Intelligence („FinIQ“), i.e. the ability to identify earnings opportunities in a wealth of numbers and unstructured information
• Understanding People, i.e. knowledge of how personalities react to incentives and what can realistically be expected of them
• An outstanding work ethic

Numerous empirical studies show that nearly all outstanding investors made their first investments as teenagers. These investments may have been small and certainly amateurish, but that is exactly what we value. In addition to English, you should be fluent in German.
