FORUM Family Office invests the assets of a German family according to the principles of value investing as established by Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett.Our investment strategy centers on a concentrated portfolio of 10-12 companies of whose quality and prospects we are deeply convinced.

Our competitive advantage lies in fundamental equity analysis, which includes extensive field research (interviews) and a fact-based discussion culture - facts, not opinions, count.This requires fully committed professionals with the highest work ethic.Our historical total shareholder return (TSR) is 12% p.a..

We are currently looking for one:

Associate Value Investing

Your main tasks include:

  • Screening your investment universe - mainly within a defined region - to generate ideas
  • Discussions with the management of potential and existing portfolio companies and documentation of these meetings through supplementary research
  • Due diligence of potential investment candidates based on fundamental stock analysis, including field work, interviews and financial modeling
  • Monitoring our existing investments

You take part in all team discussions and are fully involved in the decision-making process.

You will fit in well with our team if you have the following:

  • Entrepreneurial flair - the ability to identify high-quality (i.e. franchise) companies and assess their development in the medium and long term
  • Financial intelligence ("FinIQ") - the ability to recognize profit potential in an abundance of numbers and unstructured information
  • People skills - the ability to "read" people and understand the influence of incentive systems and corporate governance structures
  • High work ethic and performance standards

Ideally, you have acquired these skills through 3-8 years of professional experience in the investment industry - preferably with a leading company and/or with a proven track record. In addition to English, you should be fluent in another European language.
