Mecmatica S.r.l. ("Mecmatica"), a company belonging to the FORUM Family Office ("FORUM") group, has acquired a majority stake in Siint S.r.l. ("Siint"), based in Ancona, Italy. Siint was founded in 1995 by Massimo Santarelli and Marco Pela.
The company specializes in MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software for production control of machines in central Italy. Its core product, "Siint.Company," features a modular product architecture with 17 modules that can be purchased individually or as part of the entire system suite. Mecmatica is one of Italy's leading companies in the MES sector in northern Italy. This partnership will help Mecmatica consolidate its presence in central and southern Italy as well.
Siint serves around 60 customers, who are currently mainly located in the Marche region.
Siint represents FORUM's sixth investment in Italy and strengthens its commitment to the country. It is also the sixth investment this year in the European software market.
As always, FORUM's continuity remains unchanged: management, employees, and headquarters will be retained and further developed. In addition, Mecmatica Siint will support the long-term growth of the business and the strengthening of customer service with its network and expertise.
Massimo Santarelli will remain as an advisor, while Marco Pela will continue as CEO and will lead the next phase of growth together with Mecmatica. His comments on this operation:
