FORUM Family Office (“FORUM”) has acquired the majority of the shares in Nutricon Umweltschutztechnik GmbH (“Nutricon”), based in Karlsruhe. Since its foundation in 1998, Nutricon has developed into one of the leading distributors of chemicals for wastewater treatment in Germany. In addition to precipitants and flocculants, numerous specialty products are offered, combined with intensive application consulting.
The company generates sales of over €20 million with 8 employees. This is made possible by a lean and unbureaucratic company structure and intelligent partnerships with suppliers. Nutricon thus offers its customers both a remarkable price/performance ratio and exceptional supply and delivery stability. The market rewards this positioning with significant growth rates in sales.
Nutricon expands FORUM's existing water technology group to 6 companies. Approaches for closer cooperation arise in particular with our subsidiary cobos Fluid Services GmbH, which is active in the wastewater treatment segment for industrial customers.
As always, FORUM's continuation concept is to maintain the existing corporate strategy in all essential aspects.
The managing director Georg Buser will continue to run the business, supported by Thomas Strobel in sales. Dr. Hermine Göhr will build up her planned future successor competently and hand over to her in the medium term. All employees will of course be taken over.
