FORUM Family Office acquires 100% of AVAPLAN Software GmbH

FORUM Family Office ("FORUM") has acquired 100% of the shares in AVAPLAN Software GmbH, based in Berlin, via its industry holding company FORUM Software Mittelstandsholding SE.

AVAPLAN Software GmbH was founded in 2009 by Philipp Otte and Torsten Kiehns to develop standardized and particularly user-friendly AVA software for building planners, architects and building administrations. AVAPLAN now has almost 5,500 active customers and the company is growing at a healthy double-digit rate every year. The target customers are small to medium-sized planning offices and building administrations looking for simple standard software.

The jointly developed continuation concept envisages the continuation of the corporate strategy in all essential points. In the future, there are plans to cooperate with the sister company Healy Hudson (operator of the "deutsche eVergabe" procurement portal) in order to simplify the tendering process for planners. As always, all employees and the office in Berlin will be retained.

After 16 years of development work, the two founders will hand over the management to a successor by mid-2026, their comment:
