FORUM Family Office acquires ERPath emergency room information system

FORUM Family Office ("FORUM"), through its industry holding company FORUM Software Mittelstandsholding SE, will acquire the ERPath emergency room information system from eHealth-Tec GmbH, a subsidiary of the Zur Rose Group, effective Jan. 1, 2023, in ERPath Software GmbH.

ERPath covers the complete process chain in the emergency room with its software. In addition to the core system, the software package includes special modules such as triage, shock room protocol and billing. ERPath is one of three specialist providers of this software in Germany and has a market share of around 25%.

FORUM is already active in the area of software for the healthcare sector: in the area of mission control centers via SSE Software/Augsburg and in the area of mobile mission documentation via pulsation IT/Berlin. Thus ERPath gets an owner for whom software in this area is core business and who has the specific competences for it.

14 employees will be taken over as well. Tobias Leipold, co-founder and former CEO of eHealth-Tec, is part of the management team as an advisor on the Advisory Board, supporting corporate development/key accounts. The Berlin location will be retained.

Commenting on the transaction, Michael Veigel, CFO of Zur-Rose Group's Germany segment, said:

"We are pleased to have found a new owner for the ERPath software solution in FORUM Family Office, who brings the expertise and resources to take this business forward.

As co-developer of the emergency room information system and part of the takeover team, Tobias Leipold ensures the necessary continuity for customers and employees. We wish the new team much success and all the best for a successful future."

FORUM Family Office invests the assets of a Munich family in medium-sized companies. FORUM's principles in the field of family equity for succession solutions are: permanent, decentralized, entrepreneurial - quite different from financial investors. This approach has already persuaded more than 20 entrepreneurs to entrust FORUM with their life's work. Of these, Software accounts for 9 companies with combined revenues of more than EUR 60 million and approximately 450 employees.
