CWG Watertechnology GmbH ("CWG"), a company of the water division of FORUM Family Office GmbH ("FORUM"), has acquired 100% of the shares in Sensowater GmbH & Co.KG ("Sensowater"), based in Viernheim, as part of the entrepreneurial succession. Sensowater trades in components, apparatus and accessories for water treatment and, like CWG, supplies exclusively the specialised trade / resellers.
Sensowater was founded by Holger Kirch and Gerd Künzel in 2005. In the 2021 financial year, turnover was around €1.5 million.
The proven team in Viernheim with 6 employees will be taken over completely and will continue to perform the same functions. Holger Kirch is available for a transitional period to ensure continuity. In the medium term, the Viernheim location with all employees is to be transferred to CWG in Mannheim - the two companies are only about 13km apart.
Sensowater's customers thus retain their proven contact persons. At the same time, they also gain access to CWG's full range of products and services and, in addition, the security that a larger group offers in terms of purchasing and delivery capability.
