Tiger manufactures special filter elements for industrial compressed air and vacuum applications. Tiger filters fit into systems from large, established OEMs. This gives the operators of such systems the opportunity to significantly reduce the costs of their used filters compared to the prices of the OEMs. Some malicious tongues call this business model "filter pirate" - we would call Tiger the "Robin Hood of filters": "he takes it from the rich and gives it to the poor." The company has grown steadily since its foundation in 2004 and has internationalized - 2/3 of sales are generated outside of England.
The founder Gary Ashton sold the company to a Canadian group in 2021, which had to file for bankruptcy at the end of 2022. With the acquisition, FORUM has a presence in the UK for the first time - we want to do a lot more here.
