Since 1986, SoftTec GmbH has been developing numerous software solutions that not only benefit hoteliers and restaurateurs, but also provide optimum support for other companies. In addition to industry-independent products such as the "VIS-mobile field service management", the "SoftTec time recording" and "SoftTec Whistleblow", SoftTec focuses primarily on the hotel industry.

The range includes the multiple award-winning "hotline hotel software" with numerous additional modules and extensions, the POS system "Easy2Bon", the payment technology "SoftTec Payment" or the "SoftTec Webservice". All in all, SoftTec offers its customers an all-in-one solution with a single point of contact for all software issues in hotels of all sizes.

Since the takeover by Forum, the "SoftTecCloud hotel software", the focus has been on the next generation of hotel software. The platform starts where other solutions leave off. Instead of relying on lots of interfaces to third-party systems, SoftTec has developed an integrated solution that makes additional software partners unnecessary in some cases.

With a focus on individual hotels and a turnover of around € 7 million, SoftTec GmbH is number 3 on the German market behind the two big players.

Managing Director Oliver Anschütz was the company's Head of Sales until the previous owner retired and is keeping the focus right there: on selling solutions. This is perfectly in line with FORUM's understanding of the role that the managing directors should be the top sales people in their company. SoftTec's current market share in Germany is 4% - leaving 96% open to potential new customer acquisition.
