Mecmatica is FORUM's first investment in the Italian market. Since its founding in the late 1990s, Mecmatica has become one of the leading providers of MES software ("Manufacturing Execution System") for the production control of CNC machines in Italy. Sales are approximately €5.5 million, generated by 26 employees. The company serves around 500 customers with 8,000 CNC machines. The software is characterized by a modular product architecture with 11 modules that can be booked individually or as part of the system.
