Since its founding by Anton Kufer in 1984, Kufer Software GmbH has developed into the leading provider of digital course management in adult education. Kufer's core products are the ERP system KuferSQL, KuferWeb for the professional and integrated presentation of customer offers on the web, and the web-based Kufer Tools for analytics. Kufer's customer base ranges from the core market of adult education centers with a market share of over 75% to church educational institutions and integration course providers (BAMF) to private/commercial educational institutions.

The company generates sales of approximately € 6 million with approximately 50 employees. The high training rate of approximately 30% of the employees is remarkable. The founder, Anton Kufer, has created the personal freedom with the sale to explore the region - and then perhaps the world - with his newly acquired motorhome together with his wife. In February 2023, he handed over the position to Franz Seidl.
