Since its foundation by Anton Kufer in 1984, Kufer Software GmbH has developed into the leading provider of digital course management for adult continuing education. Kufer's core products are the ERP system KuferSQL, KuferWeb for the professional and integrated presentation of customer offers on the web and the web-based Kufer Tools for analytics. Kufer's customer spectrum ranges from the core market of adult education centres with a market share of over 75% to church-based further education institutions and integration course providers (BAMF) to private/commercial further education institutions.

The company achieves a turnover of approx. € 6 million with approx. 50 employees. The high training rate of approx. 30% of the employees is remarkable. With the sale, the founder Anton Kufer has created the personal freedom to first explore the region - and then perhaps the world - with the newly acquired motor home together with his wife. Since February 2023, he has handed over the position to Franz Seidl.
