cobos Fluid Service was FORUM's first investment, the acquisition was already made in 2008 (perfect timing, in the financial crisis of 2009 sales plummeted by 40%!). Cobos offers solutions for the treatment of industrial wastewater, especially emulsions and wash water. Sales are around € 7 million, achieved with 25 employees. The core of the business is operator models at major customers ("on-site"); in addition, two own treatment plants are operated for smaller and medium-sized customers in Munich and Offenbach/Pfalz. The third business unit is Chemicals/Parts/Service - this area only accounts for less than 5% of sales, but is to be significantly expanded organically and through acquisitions. The managing director is Dennis Bernhardt.
