FORUM Family Office invests the assets of a German family according to the principles of value investing, as established by Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett. At the core of our investment policy is a concentrated portfolio of 10-12 companies for which we have developed a deep conviction. Analyst Value Investing

Your main tasks are:

• Screening your investment universe - usually a region - to generate ideas
• Arrangement of visits to the management of interesting companies and their documentation through additional research
• Due diligence, i.e. in-depth analysis of promising investment candidates with extensive on-site research/interviews
• Monitoring our existing investments in this sector. You take part in all discussions within the team and are fully involved in the decision-making process.

You should apply if you have the following:
‍

• Business sense, in particular the ability to assess how companies will develop in the medium and long term
• Financial Intelligence ("FinIQ"), i.e. the ability to recognize revenue opportunities in a wealth of figures and unstructured information
• Understanding people, i.e. knowing how personalities react to incentives and what can realistically be expected of them
• An outstanding work ethic

Ample empirical evidence shows that almost all outstanding investors made their first investments as teenagers. This may have been with little money and certainly amateurish, but we would like to see it. In addition to English, you should be fluent in German.
