Intern Private Equity

FORUM Family Office has been investing in companies with a long-term approach for more than 20 years. In the area of private equity, we are the point of contact for sellers for whom a "good home" for their companies is important. After the takeover, we work closely with the entrepreneurs/managing directors. In this respect, we take a more long-term and operational approach than the majority of our sector. With this approach, we have achieved a return of 20% p.a. since inception and completed four transactions in 2021. From Q2 2025 we are looking for a:

Intern Private Equity

As a member of our deal team, you will work on all steps of the investment process until closing :

-screening for interesting sectors and deal candidates, direct approach via mailings or in person

-Analysis of offers from intermediaries for suitability and opportunity, further development of our network

-Participation in entrepreneurial/management meetings, preparation of appraisals, LOIs and term sheets.

-Collaboration on due diligence projects with responsibility for individual modules.

We are looking for students from the 3rd semester onwards who are looking for a career entry into the private equity industry after completing their studies. Your personality is important to us, especially the following characteristics:

A nose for money and good business: You have a strong instinct for what good business is and how to make money. You have had your first experience with buying and selling or have made money in other ways. Privately, you take care of your investments yourself.

-Aptitude for contact, strong communication skills: You enjoy dealing with people. That's why you've done several internships related to sales. You are not afraid to approach cold contacts and can quickly establish a relationship of trust on the phone. You are a good listener and inspire trust. You have empathy.

Ambition and passion: You are a "hunter" and not a "farmer". You want to build something big in your life or be part of it. Your role models are e.g. Jeff Bezos or the 3G team. Your work ethic is characterised by ambitious goals - for which you are willing to go the extra mile. Behind this is passion as the driving force in your life. You will complete your studies quickly and with flying colours.
